The V-18 is a semi-automatic vertical band saw and comes equipped with a 2 HP hydraulic pump that supplies system pressure through three position directional valves. An optional mist lubrication system is also available, controlling all vising, head advance/retract, blade tension, and guide arm movement.
An optional 6° degree canted head (recommended when cutting larger beams, structural steel, and bundles of square tubing) allows for more efficient cutting and improved blade life. The cast iron, torsion free saw head provides durability, stiffness, and dampens vibrations during operation.
The V-18 vertical bandsaw comes equipped with an 18″ round capacity, 18″ x 20″ rectangular capacity at 90°, 13″ round capacity at 45°, 65 – 385 sfm variable blade speed, a hydraulic blade tensioning system, hydraulic vises, hydraulic head swing, 45° left or right, 38″ table height, a hydraulic positive feed system, 5 hp main motor, 14′-6″ x 1-1/4″ blade and weighs 4,500 lbs.
